Swedish Smokeless Solutions AB and Dalbystrand Sweden AB have entered into a partnership for the development, production, and sale of tobacco-based products such as chewing tobacco and snus. Nicotine portions are not affected by the deal.
Dalbystrand Sweden AB will take over international sales of snus and chewing tobacco under the agreement. Swedish Smokeless will instead focus on contract manufacturing of tobacco products for companies such as Dalbystrand, which will initially have exclusive rights to sell the products developed by Swedish Smokeless. This means that customers who previously bought their tobacco products directly from Swedish Smokeless will instead contact Dalbystrand Sweden.
“Swedish Smokeless’ production facility is state-of-the-art and has a very large capacity for the production of both tobacco-based and tobacco-free products. Through the agreement with Dalbystrand, we expect sales of tobacco-based products to increase at an even faster pace. At the same time, Swedish Smokeless is investing in expanding its capacity for the production of nicotine pouches, where sales to both customers, distributors and retailers are going very well,” says Robert Almqvist, Head of Communications at Swedish Smokeless Solutions.
